Architecture can change the world?

I made this question when I was choosen a career, I was thinking that the answer was not, so inmediatly I think to study another think, but I realized that the architecture it´s very important for the world, in every corner we can see some thing created by an architect, that´s change my mind, and I said: the world and people needs professionals that love what they do, that really interested in build nice and comfortable buildings for users. I thought in the bad and unsafe places in Santiago -bc I live here- I thought in the people with less possibilities and in the dream of own house! Architects should build decent houses, designed for the number of people who will live there, and work in government projects. Also design and create green areas, and locate houses in places with the necessary implements, like schools, hospitals, markets and public transport!

I really like to work in these projects, that´s the way I can help to change the world!

For these reasons, I´d like to specialize on the social impact of architecture, and later work in a municipality or state institution to help people with their demands.
